FAILURE! What to do?

Failure is back… what to do?
So excited at mid-day when the real, physical, hard copy of my completed trilogy arrived via a live postman banging on my door. Had been on my way to buy paint to begin painting a room but stopped and responsibly got to proof reading. Cover was just as gorgeous as I’d expected but found six errors still lurking in the text!!!! Most I knew of already from previous re-proofing copy I’d received online but, ever the optimist, hoped they'd magically disappear in cyberspace. Finished by supper but the website would not accept corrections even though I offered gladly to pay since they were my fault. The website “said” they’d be in touch by TUESDAY! (Decided it wouldn’t be fair to cop-out --not sure what that word really means-- with an Errata since, under another name, I’ve done many book reviews and been critical of POD’s with too many errors.) Oh, well!
