… in my life as a day laborer but finished the job 30 minutes ago. Am bushed, beat or whatever the current slang is for exhausted. I now have a peach colored living room that compliments my Serapi rug wall hanging it took me sixteen years to create and two years to get hung. May provide pics by next week. Just now am going to celebrate by eating a simple dinner downstairs and them collapsing in a bubble bath with a glass of wine.
Ah… better but delayed the wine. The good news is I have a three inch tall lime “tree” from the first lime I bought and cut into the seed. At least it looks like a lime plant. We’ll see. All the other attempts were fruitless (sorry). No seeds in the “organic” limes.
Nothing exciting on book sales. A small blip, which makes a big difference in Amazon sales ranking. I guess that means the economy has hit Amazon and their overall book sales are down. Is that logical? Somehow it is to me. Hope I shared that a New Orleans book club is considering Savannah Spell to Yorktown for their Historic Novel. A book shop in the Garden District is carrying it as a result. And that’s good. Though a family member says book clubs can be very harsh critics. Oh well, anyone need a living room redecorated? Please say no.
PS Got around to that glass of wine (now 10:30 EST) only to discover the BOX was empty. So had to pull on clothes over my night gown and go to the parking lot and the trunk of my car. It's Sunday and Blue Laws being what they are in my home state I am always prepared for such. That glass I' m sipping on now? Nice.
