First of the week found a fabulous Online record of all the ships coming’going from the various islands of the Caribbean. Fertile facts for a new (yeah. Got bored) nonfiction book I have in mind. All about an innocent but fire-tempered woman who had her reputation slaughtered by good King Jimmy II and his cohorts. But he wasn’t nearly as hard on her as on her son… chop chop. I think I’m channeling her at this point. As usual that’s beside the point. Was interrupted in my rapture with the Online record and have futilely searched for it since. If anyone reads this and knows such a site, HELP!
My foyer has an 18 feet high ceiling and my wall hanger doesn’t like heights. The fringe is hung up on nails and I can’t straighten it. Spent the week mentally devising engineering techniques (hey, I’m “near” GA Tech and certainly qualify as a Ramblin' Wreck) to fix it without traumatizing him. Think I have one but won’t know ‘til I try it. So far zilch and you don’t even want to know the hair-brained ideas I discovered would NOT work.
I need a review from someone who bought the book from Amazon. They have rules about that. I assume all are still absolutely engrossed in the absorbing 400 plus pages. What was I thinking!
